The Spirit Lake Nation's Powwow is always held the last full weekend of July...
 
Drum used by one of the many drumming groups... (yes, it is an old pic, but one that I love. The rest are from this weekend).

As a race, the Native Americans have the largest enlistment into the services of any other race.  They honor and revere their veterans...

The food is amazing...Indian Tacos, fry bread, Indian Pizza, Kettle Corn and on and on...
