A Touch of Puppy Heaven...

Friday, November 1

We returned from Pea Ridge Civil War Battlefield only to find that we've been "booted"!!!  The boot is a pass-along from work camper to work camper...

Thanks a bunch for booting us Becky!!

We also met our new work camper friends today ~ Tom, Bill and Edna and Joanne.  Joanne's husband will be joining her next month.  They are all full-time rv'ers as well.

Sunday, November 3

It seems a thief is living among us.  A lovable thief, but a thief nevertheless!!

Yep, that would be Cooper, aka "the thief" with my slipper...

Monday, November 4

We decided to do a bit of Christmas Shopping.  We headed to Grand Village, which is right on the strip. Grand Village, as well as the city of Branson, is all decked out for the holidays...

Shopping wears us out!! We decided to have lunch at Mel's Hard Luck Diner, located in the Village.  Mel's Hard Luck Diner is where the servers sing to you while you eat!! A fun place to be sure!! Oh, and the food's great as well!!

Mel's is an old-fashioned diner...

you don't see this very often

one of the servers singing us a Christmas hymn

The desserts are a work of art...

Thursday, November 7

Tonight we went to see the Haygoods Christmas Show at the RFD Theatre.  The Haygoods are a talented group of seven brothers and one sister.  They are a young, energetic group who put on a very high-energy performance.  Between them, they play over 20 instruments.  The first half of the show was the "best" of their regular show ~ performing pop, country and acappella music.  The second half of the show was their Christmas Show...

Pre-show fun

Beach ball fun...

Friday, November 8

We left the hustle and bustle of Branson and took a drive along Glade Top Road in the Mark Twain National Forest.  This part of the forest reminds us of northern Michigan with all of its hardwood trees.  We had a fun day hiking and driving through the forest...

one of Coopers favorite things to do is to go for a walk in the woods..

a touch of  "puppy" heaven...

Saturday, November 9

We have been asked if we would stay and work camp through December.  We have decided that that is exactly what we would like to do.  Soooo, we'll be having an Ozark Mountain Christmas!!

Today is our grandson's birthday.  Preston is 9 today!  Happy Birthday Preston!!!

We are feeling incredibly blessed to be living this life that we love.  We're so grateful to be experiencing life in the Ozarks...

Goodnight from Table Rock Lake...
