And now it is Steven's older brother, Daniel and the beautiful Miss Katie's turn. They are to be married on August 9 in St. Charles, Missouri.

Thursday, August 7 found us driving north to St. Charles. St. Charles is a quaint city located northwest of St. Louis on the Missouri River. It was founded in 1765, which makes St. Charles the third oldest city west of the Mississippi. It was also the first state capitol of Missouri.

Friday, August 8

After breakfast,

Steven & Emily. It was great to see them & hang with them for a bit

my brother John, his wife Marie and their son David (parents and brother of the groom) along with Ron and myself went to the historic main street of St. Charles. It's a delightful street lined with historic buildings that house unique shops and restaurants...

the streets are cobblestones, while the sidewalks are brick
